MOMENTOS

It would be great if I lived my life somewhere over the rainbow!

That I wouldn’t have to have Reasons or excuses for what I do

Where the world would be a Beautiful World no one would call me

Frijolero because of the color of my skin!

Where I wouldn’t be One of The boys I would be a normal girl.

Where liking someone menor que yo would be considered good for society

Where people wouldn’t think that I’m Over My Head because of my actions.

Where Cada que yo A Dios Le Pido my wishes would come true.

I wouldn’t have to go through life being a Love Fool.

Where My Sacrifices would be for a good cause and not taken for granted.

But Ahora Entendi that I can’t do that I will have

To live in the world I live in, it won’t be Yellow or red, Green.

It will just be as it is now. I will have to take the world Suavecito and not rush through it.

I will have to llorar por amor and have my down days.

My world will always be the same never any change.

Music is my way of getting away. Getting away from the “Real World”. It helps me concentrate, think and it inspires me. If I have problems music helps me. It’s like the best tool for me. All it takes is to turn on my I-pod and pick the right song. Depending on my mood is the song I put. If I’m feeling happy ill put a happy song, but if I’m sad ill put something that will try and help me get into a better mood. In that case I would put “frijolero” by Molotov. It makes me laugh and think of my family. But in sad moments in which I wish to remember things such as my dad ill put “My Sacrifice” Creed. It helps me remember all of the momentos…moments that he was with me. “It's been awhile, where should we begin? Feels like forever with in my heart are memories of perfect love that you gave to me Oh, I remember”. That’s how music helps me remember. It makes me feel god if I don’t have a way to say something music will do it. It’s like its part of me without music I can’t live. Life would be boring without it. So now every time that I look back at the mix CD that I made I will probably remember what those songs have to me. The symbolic meanings that they have on me the memories of them, just like Rob Sheffield’s “Roller Boogie”. Music is my life, Music is me.

we stood in line for this

the story "we stood in line for this" is about a guy who has issues with his name. the guy looks back at his childhood and remembers what they used to call him. Fig Newton because of the commercial in that time. his real name was Paul Feig. but as he kept on analysing his name and other peoples names he realizes that his name is not half bad he notices that his name is actually decent compared to other peoples names. that is what the article is about how he did not like his childhood nickname and how he ended up liking it.

the stories that we live by

in this article "the stories we live by" the author talks about what a myth really is. the author talks about the way that we understand a story. the way of understanding a story is by something called myth a part that is a lie but makes it seem real. the author also explains how the way that we can get to actually meet a person is by their myths. the myths behind people reveal allot about them. to me that is basically what the author talks about.

i could tell you stories

in this short story the author talk about the meaning of a memory/memoir. the author explains hoe a memoir is not just of a "memory" something that is seen or lived. a memoir can be truth but it can also be a lie. a memoir is meant to make a person think to open up their imagination and expand it. a memoir cant only be truth because then it would be boring, so in order for it to be a good memoir it can no only be memory it has to have a bit of a lie in it.
